Most beautiful villages around the Mont Ventoux: Crestet, 23 km from the holiday home
Crestet is a very small village, so you'll have seen it in half an hour. Combine it with these other addresses so it is worth driving by.
Coming from the holiday home on the D938 you pass La Fleur Bleue: a great Provencal cozy restaurant, something further down is the big Poterie de Crestet: a pottery shop with next door the Nougat Tolleron shop and a little further on there is a restaurant L' Epicurien with a sleek modern interior.
If you start the climb by car, you will pass Restaurant-Glacier La Terrasse du Crestet, with a magnificent view!
Leave the center via Les Faysess and visit the wine estate Chêne Bleu where there is actually a blue oak tree. You can order a picnic for two or a Chênobox (Japanese Bento Box type), an hour of wine tasting or follow food and wine pairings.
