In the cozy alley of rue des Poternes, you can hear the buzz of the 2 restaurants, Le Mesclun and Side-Terasse. We ate at Restaurant Le Mesclun with a great view of the vineyards, very friendly service and delicious food!
After dinner, you can walk to the Saint Denis church where you can again enjoy a beautiful view. The athletic walker can walk a little further to the Castle. Nearby you also have the Fontaine des Mascarons and the old washhouse. On the church square, the orientation table makes it possible to identify the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Alpilles.
The wine estate Domaine de Mourchon is located just outside the center and organizes guided tours between the vines throughout the season. Afterwards, there is an explanation in the cellar about the cultivation and winemaking methods, as well as a tasting of the range of wines.
Or visit the Chêne Bleu winery where there is actually a blue oak. You can order a picnic for two or a Chênobox (Japanese Bento Box type), an hour of wine tasting, or follow food and wine pairings.
